Undergear appeared as a subsidiary of [[International Male]] in the 1980s. It first started out as a small section in the [[International Male]] catalog. By the 1990s it had its own seperate catalog. What set Undergear appart from [[International Male]] was that it focused only on underwear. As such it became hugely popular with gay men.
