Undergear appeared as a subsidiary of International Male in the 1980s. It first started out as a small section in the International Male catalog. By the 1990s it had its own seperate catalog. What set Undergear appart from International Male was that it focused only on underwear. As such it became hugely popular with gay men. By 2008 International Male was folded into Undergear.com.[1]
