All American Boy was a popular gay clothing store and clothes line that opened at 463 Castro Street in San Francisco in 1976 by owner Tim Oviatt. By the 1980s it was so popular it had expanded its stores to Christopher Street in New York City and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Over time the two satellite stores were sold off and by December 2008 the Castro Street closed.[1]
