As an experiment in history by the the people, some content of OutHistory.org is created by anyone with data, documents, and source citations to share. Content is also solicited from and volunteered by independent scholars, institutionally-based researchers, archivists, collectors, and the public.

Users are encouraged to participate in creating and administering the site, following the site’s Contributors’ Guidelines. Please help OutHistory.org make history.
