The lesbian buttons online exhibit was created through the collaboration of OutHistory and The Lesbian Herstory Archives. The buttons were scanned at TIFF format and then converted into JPEG for web browsing. The subject terms in the metadata were assigned based on <em>The Thesaurus for Graphic Materials (TGM) </em>. Customization was made for lesbian's terms and vocabularies. The lesbian buttons online exhibit was created through the collaboration of OutHistory and The Lesbian Herstory Archives.
