Carefully add your new title in the box below to create an original page on OutHistory.org:



If you have trouble creating a new page on OutHistory.org read the instructions below:

1 To create a new entry

you must first create an account on OutHistory.org.


To create an OutHistory account, click on "Log In/Create Account" on the top of the red bar.

Follow the instructions.


After you are logged in:


2 Carefully decide upon a title for your entry.

Example: Jane Doe: My Coming Out Story, June 1969-present


3 Type your title in the empty title box above.

Example: http://outhistory.org/wiki/Jane Doe: My Coming Out Story, June 1969-present


4 Click on "Click here to add your new title"

5 Add your text and images in the blank area of the page.

6 Preview your entry by clicking on "Show preview" at the bottom of the screen.

7 Make necessary adjustments and click on "Show preview" again.

8 Fill in the "Summary" box near the bottom of the screen by briefly summarizing your entry.

9 When you are ready to publish your entry, save it by clicking on "Save page" at the bottom of the screen.
