Ways to Participate

* Authors: Contribute out-of-print but still valuable articles and books the copyright to which has reverted to you. Contribute unpublished chapters deleted for space considerations or other reasons from published books, or never published articles.

* Create New Articles:

* Create New Article Stubs: Users can also create new stub articles, entries for which there is no or little content. And, if users desire, they can begin to fill in the new stub article.

* Create New Timeline Entries:

* Create New Timeline Stubs: Users can suggest or add a timeline stub.

* Discusss: All users can freely discuss the site or discuss a particular article or timeline entry, including stub articles (see below). Suggestions for additions to or changes in the site and in entries will be seriously considered by all of us who work to improve the content to the site.

* Donate: You can always contribute to OutHistory.org by donating financially to it, and thus helping to insure its continued existence.

* Search Site:

* Search Stubs: Users can search the site’s stub categories, articles for which content is desired, but for which there is no or little content, and begin to fill in a stub.

* Search Timelines:

* Teachers: Teachers and Students can work with students to submit content to the site. Before participating, please study the Contributors’ Guidelines.

* Upload Content: Users can offer documents: audio recordings, court records, diaries, letters, photographs, publications, movies, video, or other evidence relevant to LGBTQ history for which permission to publish has been obtained.
