Provide Content

As an experiment in history by the people, all logged in users can edit, add to, and improve any entry except those with a named author or curator. Practice editing in the Sandbox. New site content can also be created by anyone with data, documents, and citations to share. For how to contribute data, documents, citations, and edits, and to offer help with research, copyediting, administration, technology, and graphic design see Participate.

Fill in Stubs and Research Requests

Users can also search: Stub Categories (a list of all entries for which there is no or little content) and Stub Articles, and begin to fill in the data and citations. Users can also search Research Requests, and provide the missing information. Users can also create new stub entries that they would like to see filled in.
