This is an  unbievable story about a young man who left home in 1964 to join the Air Force. I had basic training in Amerillo Texas, this is a bad begining. The Texas pan handle is pure hell any time of year for a kid from Brooklyn. I arrived in the heat off July having never left the north east in my short 19 years of life.
