volunteer outhistory
Volunteer: Help OutHistory Make History
As a non-profit, freely available, educational website OutHistory needs volunteers to help it make history. Here are a list of tasks for which OutHistory.org needs volunteers. If you can volunteer to help with a particular aspect of the site, please send a description of your interest, skill, and occupational experience to outhistory@gc.cuny.edu
TASKS bibliography creation categorizing content providing (African American LGBTQ history, civil rights history and LGBTQ people, colonial era sexual history, law reform and LGBTQ movement, lesbian American history, local LGBTQ history, marriage history, military and homosexuals, organizational histories, sodomy law history, etc) copy editing curating articles/exhibits editing fact checking financial planning fundraising graphic design identity of site as historical, time-focused picture research publicity scanning search improvement spam deleting and protection technical assistance with MediaWiki software uploading audio, images, video
