This is Eric Hubert, one of the plaintiffs in the 1988 lawsuit against Disney. After Disney and several other troubling discriminatory practices at UCLA and in our society I became so weary and tired of fighting. I am still quite proud that the three of us were able to instill change in such a large company as Disney. Most people don't know I was working in the Entertainment division at the time the incident took place. I loved working at Disneyland and still have dreams about my time there. However, I left the company when the lawsuit began. I could not accept that I would work for a company that I was suing or involved in any legal entanglement with. I thought people had forgotten about the lawsuit. It was not easy for the three of to be so young and handle the pressures of bring spokespeople for the gay community and keep up our studies. But, even today I could not see doing anything differently. I would love to hear from others that have been caught in similar situations or those that need support regarding GBLT issues. Thank you so much for the inclusion in OUT History...Eric Hubert herrpilates@yahoo.com
