“On May 10, 1955, Agents of the FBI arrested Louis Arlan Kerr at New Orleans, Louisiana, on a federal warrant charging a violation of the Interstate Transportation of Stolen Property Statut[e].  While being interviewed concerning the federal charge on which he was arrested, Kerr volunteered information that he was a homosexual. He furnished the names of 45 individuals with whom he claimed to have had homosexual relations since 1051. Kerr also stated that he had a long standing friendship with Dorothy Dandridge, Negro movie actress.
