Frisco Follies Grand Illusion is a cabaret act brought to Harrah's in the mid-seventies. It starts out at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe in January 1975 before being brought to Reno the following month. It consists of four men led by Jamie James, and two women doing female impersonations of celebrities such as Barbara Streisand and Carol Channing. It continues a long tradition of female impersonators working on Reno stages going back to the 1940's. It plays on and off at Reno Harrah's Casino Cabaret until 1981. <comments />
