Lovell-area, ME

CampOUT is a social and educational retreat for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Allied Youth ages 14 - 22 years old.  It’s a space designed for LGBTQA youth to connect, learn, and share ideas. At CampOUT, LGBTQA youth will not only learn about how to build a strong LGBTQA youth community, but also how to become powerful youth leaders.

ASL Interpretation available by request!

CampOUT is held at a large lake house in near Lovell, Maine. Conditions are rustic: tenting in the yard, limited running water, and a port-a-potty. There is electricity, a big deck, and a private beach!

CampOUT will have five volunteer adult mentors on-site – all with experience supporting, educating, and empowering LGBTQA youth. We have a range of backgrounds including: firefighter/EMT, former certified lifeguard, former domestic violence victim advocate, licensed clinical social worker, musician, activists, American Sign Language users, artists, graphic designers, HIV prevention counselors, performance artists, public speakers, and safer sex educators.
