Stonewall Was a Riot! Queer Riffs on Life Since 1969

When: Monday June 22nd, doors open at 7:30pm, show starts at 8pm


Where: The Stonewall Inn, 53 Christopher Street, New York, NY


Who: Performers include Staceyann Chin, Dred, Anthony Escobar, Holly Hughes, Rosamond King, Lisa Kron and Chic & Sassy. MC: JZ Bich and DJs Sara Graham, Associate Music Editor, BUST Magazine and DADDY.

Why: "Stonewall Was a Riot!" celebrates the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots at the scene of the crime, kicks off Pride week 2009 and launches OutHistory.org's "Since Stonewall Local Histories Contest."


"Stonewall Was a Riot!" is a fundraiser for OutHistory.org the suggested minimum donation is $20. All proceeds will go to fund OutHistory.org. Space is limited. Reservations made by emailing outhistory@gc.cuny.edu will be held until 6:45 pm.


The Since Stonewall Contest is generously supported by a grant from the Arcus Foundation.
