The Loft

Jump to navigationJump to searchThe Loft is the location for the first underground GLBT disco that was created by David Mancuso on February 14, 1970 located at 647 Broadway. In 1975 it moved to 99 Prince Street. In the 1980s the Loft moved to the East Village and became more unpopular. Mancuso still throws several loft parties throughout New York a year.[1]
