This page has been adapted from Wikipedia.

To make a link to another OutHistory.org page in edit mode, write the name of the page you want to link to within double brackets. For example:

Lesbians in the Twentieth Century

This is how it will appear on your web page:

Lesbians in the Twentieth Century

If you want don't want to write the name of the OutHistory page in your article, simply add your new title preceded by a pipe | after the link but within the brackets like this:

Lesbians

This is how it will appear on your web page:

Lesbians

It is even possible to link to a specific section of an article. To do so, separate the title of the exhibit from the title of the section you want to link to with a number sign #, like this:

Lesbians and the 1950s

This is how it will appear on your web page:

Lesbians and the 1950s

If you want to create a link to an external website you must type the entire URL on your web page:

http://www.actuporalhistory.org/

This is how it will appear on your web page:

http://www.actuporalhistory.org/

If you don't want to display the URL on your web page, simply write the word you want to serve as the link after the URL and encase both within single brackets like this:

ACT UP

This is how it will appear on your web page:

ACT UP
