I came into GAA and we had the same issues with the guys, so, many of the women formed LFL (I was one of them). It was a wonderful time for many of us who discovered talents we never knew we had and provided outlet for those we had been practicing in isolation.Thank you LBF for starting a movement of lesbians. A force to be reckoned with. At age 75, I look back with abundant love for the good times we shared.Life is still good, and we've all moved on, one way or another, but of all the phases of my life, the 70's were the most life altering. I am so glad to have found this site, and thank you Ellen, for capturing so many memories on film. There ought to have been more photos and videos of dances at DOB, The Women's Coffee House, The 2 Women's Centers etc. And my favorite group, I was the bass drummer, The Victoria Woodhull Marching Band.Thank goodness, we have the little we have. Oh, yes! It was a time! And I'm not about to romanticize it. My memory just insists on being selective, and I'm going along with it. In Sisterhood and Power Ellen (Chelsea) Dreher
