Spunk magazine was a sex positive gay men's magazine that was published by El Hombre for Studio Iguana at 501 1rst Street in San Francisco. The first issue was published in July 1992 in New York City after sex club articles in New York Magazine and and by WNBC tv rocked city conservatives. The first issue consisted of 100 xerosed copies. covered New York City, Los Angeles and the San Francisco Bay Area.
