Popular gay bar/disco/shopping complex located at 836 N. Highland in Hollywood, CA that opened in 1971. It was owned by Eddie Nash and managed by Hal Gittman. It was the largest disco in the city until Studio One opened. It set the precedent of having a discriminating door policy that did not allow women in. Reverend Troy Perry organized a protest of Dude City and the policy was quickly lifted. By 1978 it was replaced by the gay men's disco The Probe.
