This exhibit focuses on activism on college and high school campuses anas well as on representations of queer youth in the media. This exhibit was researched by Bryn Mawr and Haverford students for a class on the History of Sexuality in America, taught by Sharon Ullman. Topics range from Gay Straight Alliances to the Gay Liberation Front, to hate crimes perpetrated against at-risk youth in the second half of the twentieth century. If you are a teacher or student at another college or university, please tell us about the history of LGBTQ organizing on your campus.
