The "Society of Pat Rocco Enlightened Enthusiasts" was founded in 1968 by Dick Winters, Jim Kepner, and Chuck Robinson in honor of gay filmaker and phtographer Pat Rocco.
SPREE membership served as a social outlet for members, an avenue for promoting Pat Rocco films, discovering new models, and, in particular, producing the Los Angeles based theatre.
From 1969 through 1977 Spree published a monthly newsletter for their organization out of Los Angeles.
