APPENDIX: ANNOTATED CHRONOLOGY, 1969-2009
Bloomington LGBT History Chronology 1969-2009
The following chronology was compiled by students conducting research in Bloomington newspapers. Almost all citations are drawn from the Indiana Daily Student (IDS), though some are from the Arbutus (Indiana University yearbook), the Bloomington Herald-Times, and a few other miscellaneous sources. Some years are more fully researched than others. Some citations are incomplete. Overall, however, this chronology provides a valuable resource for future research, and offers a substantially complete record of how LGBT issues have been covered in the university-community press over the past 40 years.
[Remaining Years Need to Be Properly Formatted]
